Because of COVID-19 and the ongoing pandemic, clubs around the world are currently more or less closed. But you can let off steam there in GTA Online in the future.
If you can’t go to real clubs, at least a virtual counterpart is just what you need. This is what the guys at Rockstar Games seem to have thought, and they now want to enrich GTA Online accordingly.
With “The Music Locker” a new social space is opened in the long-running. The underground club can be found in the Diamond Casino & Resort, where a lot of work was recently done. Now the nightclub is nearing completion and will serve as a stage for various world-class DJs in the game.
If you’re in the mood for a few drinks, grab a partner and dance the night away in the game. The Music Locker is exactly the right place for it, including lighting effects and a flawless sound system.
The opening of the club will be handled in the first week by the Detroit legend Moodymann with motor city soul, techno and disco sound. Later in the season, the Berlin collective Keinemusik will take you on a musical journey from beach parties in the open air to the darkest nights in Europe. Meanwhile, Palms Trax is preparing to bring you old-school house, exotic disco sounds and the latest from the UK underground during his residency at Music Locker at the end of the year.
The Music Locker is freely accessible to all players, but there is also a VIP area for owners of a penthouse in the Diamond. Your own service awaits you there. Further musical news from Los Santos including new radio stations are to follow shortly.
In mid-December, GTA Online will be expanded to include the new The Cayo Perico Heist.
