This is the first time since 2013 GTA online Has left the mainland.of Cayo Perico Heist Take the player to a private island near the coast. The island has the files of El Rubio and Madrazo, the drug-saving master. You need to steal these files in the latest big achievement in multiplayer mode.
Considering the scale of the operation, setting up and pulling down Cayo Perico Heist is not easy, especially if you are flying solo. Therefore, we have put together this guide to help you figure out how to open a clear path through scoping sequences and looting preparation tasks.
With our help, you should be able to overthrow El Rubio’s militia in any way you choose and return home with millions of GTA dollars in your duffel bag.
How to find Madrazo files on Cayo Perico
Before starting the preparation mission, you need to scope the island, but first, you need to make sure to pass through the island. Once the submarine is purchased, you can start the “Collect Intel” mission on the schedule and use the on-board fast travel to Vespucci Beach.
You need to go to the airport to reach Cayo Perico, so please use the “Services” menu to summon a small boat and go to the yellow mark.
After a few cutscenes, you can drive El Rubio to the party and dance on the Keinemusic stage as long as you see fit. After finishing the big fish, small fish, and cardboard boxes, you need to slip out of the south gate. This should be easy. The guards patrol in a predictable manner-please be patient and bypass them.
After entering the outdoors, if you are found from here, you will be dragged back to the party, so please be careful of the guards on the mini map. You don’t have any weapons here. Using vehicles is useful but dangerous. If the guards hear the sound of the engine, they will follow you, so use cars and bicycles sparingly.
At the first checkpoint on your right, watch the CCTV surveillance and go straight through the door marked with the intruder mark and pass the guard directly.
Stay away from the road and follow the yellow signs to sneak into the main entrance. Pavel will tell you to find the communications tower on the island. As you might imagine, this is easy to spot, but in any case, the game will give you a yellow circle to help you.
Dive into the huge tower, climb up, and solve the signal puzzle. You have to match the numbers at the top of the screen by combining the numbers on the left with the symbols on the right to double, divide or spit out other math solutions. The result is random, so keep trying different combinations until you get it.
Once this is done, you will be able to access the island’s security cameras and aim at the compound of El Rubio. Make sure to move the camera to the left and right as much as possible in each viewpoint.
Doing so will release several penetration points in the inner temple. When you are on the camera, you should also look for paintings, golds, strikes, and weeds to add to the secondary loot targets. Honestly, they are hard to miss, so don’t worry too much, just be thorough.
You will eventually see Madrazo files that need to be stolen as part of a scripted camera sequence. Once finished, you can browse all cameras. Go over it again to make sure you have read everything, like it.
Cayo Perico Heist scoping mission
At this time, the island is your oyster. You can discover your own inner satisfaction, and you should do it, because like Diamond Diamond Heist, if you are completely sure of the scope of piracy, you will have more options when starting a heist.
Remember, if you are caught too many times by security guards, or if you are found by a search helicopter, you will be sent home, and if you spend too long on the island, you will arrive.
You can use the Snapmatic app on your phone to take pictures of penetration points, escape points, secondary targets, compound entry points and points of interest on Cayo Perico.
Pavel will take you to some of these locations before you leave as a mandatory sequence, but players must find most of these range targets through exploration. If you need to return to Los Santos first, you can return at will.
These hidden extra features will lead to optional preparation tasks and additional ways to succeed. You don’t need to find them all to complete the heist, but after completing Pavel’s mission to smooth the whole experience, it’s worth finding some of them.
Remember, for items such as bolt cutters, guard clothing, and grappling hooks, you only need as many people as there are in the robbery team. Therefore, if you plan to participate in a robbery alone, or a duet or trio, don’t worry. If you are also playing solo, the space in the duffel bag will be limited, so it is not worth finding every auxiliary resource because you will not be able to carry it.

Penetration points, penetration points, and specific points of interest are static for everyone, but secondary targets (such as weed, cash, and cocaine) and tools (such as bolt cutters and grappling hooks) are randomly placed for each player.
Cayo Perico basic scope target, explained
Control tower
If you turn left from the starting gate back to your runway, you can find a control tower on the left at the end of the runway. Scan, and when you do the actual robbery, you can sneak in and shut down El Rubio’s air defense system so that you can call in air strikes, helicopters and other support personnel.
Power grid
To the east of the control tower, there is a road leading to other areas of the island. Follow and capture the picture of the cage grid. When you land on the island for the final robbery, this will make you deactivate all the lights and CCTV, making walking easier.
Drainage tunnel
If you swim to the back of El Rubio’s Compound at the bottom of the map, you will find a small boat. Enter and approach the inner sanctuary to unlock the penetration point of the underwater drainage tunnel. This is the method of using Kostaka with a diving suit. It is the best way to secretly cross the island. You need to perform optional preparation tasks for the cutting torch to put it inside.
Supply truck
Like tools, this POI appears in random locations. I found mine at the North Pier in the upper right corner of the map. If you steal it, you can pretend to pass through the gate of the compound as long as you are confident to drive.
Chopped flour
Another randomly generated item, I found mine in the farm on the far right of the picture below. If you go to a water tower on the island, you may damage the water supply and weaken El Rubio’s guards.
protective suit
There are four guard costumes on the island, one for each robbery member. I found mine in the cafe area of the airport. If you switch to them, El Rubio’s defender will have a hard time finding you.
Bolt cutters
There are four pairs of bolt cutters on the island. I found that my airstrip was in the middle of the left side. You need them to open the gate to get the marked cash, weed or cocaine, and then visit the grid to turn off the camera.

There are four grapple bags on the island. I found me by climbing the water tower of the North Pier. This will allow you to climb over a wall of the El Rubio compound, which is better than going through the front door!
Secondary goal
You will find cash, weed, cocaine, gold and paintings (accessed via the Sightseer app on your phone) in warehouses and cameras all over the island. I found that you can hide two secondary targets before the loot bag is full, so for a complete team of four, these are approximately eight potential secondary targets.
Penetration point
Use the map above and take photos of each cluster area on the island to find the infiltration points lost after the first mission. Depicting a penetration point will also unlock it as an escape point. The drainage tunnel is the only tricky tunnel-it is located underwater in the El Rubio compound.

Cayo Perico Heist preparation task guide
The preparation task of Cayo Perico Heist is divided into four parts, each part has its own subtask.

You need to complete an approach aircraft mission to prepare for the robbery. I chose a stealth helicopter as my approach vehicle. This is entirely because it is the only option for a two-part mission-it is a stealth helicopter!
Cayo Perico Heist’s preparation task is very straightforward. You will be sent to kill the agents on the ship, deactivate the air defense system, and fly the chopped chopper onto a nearby hanger. This will take a few minutes.
The next pilot task is to kill the creditors of Vinewood Hills and then escape the police. You have seen it before. No danger!

In this part, you need to complete a “weapon loading” preparation task. You must follow the helicopter from Merryweather HQ to the Avenger plane. Clear the area, enter the “Avenger” and pack your luggage. Then you can take it to the submarine.

In this mission, you will go to O’Neill Ranch and destroy a guard. You need to collect a key card to unlock the basement, where you can find the expenses, and then you must bring these expenses back to Kosatka.
Security Code
Go to the casino and Pavel will text you an image, which you must use to find the security officer in the penthouse. Kill everyone and retrieve the code from his body.
Fingerprint clone
You will go to a warehouse, steal a laptop, and enter the archive where you need to find a small fingerprint cloner. The waltz is around the desk until you see it-it is small!
Cutting torch-optional
You will be sent to a warehouse full of guards. Wipe it off and search the toolbox to get the torch, you need to use the torch penetration point.

The last few missions are optional, but very useful because they will weaken El Rubio’s defensive capabilities on the island. You need to take out the arms dealer, condor and cargo within the 10-minute time limit.
Remember, each Heist Prep mission has only one shot in each mission, so please don’t make any mistakes. Before you start the “destroy” mission, bring your submarine close to the coast and make sure your private transportation is nearby so that you can quickly swipe on the map.

When you start the ending, you can also pay a fee to unlock a series of Support Crew teams to make things easier, which can be accessed from the in-game service menu.
