Gaming News GTA trilogy: the work is not over yet, Rockstar announces something new
Almost four months after release, Rockstar continues to refine GTA Trilogy on all consoles, so get ready to receive a new hotfix patch in a few days.
A new patch is coming soon
On November 11, 2021, Rockstar offered Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition to the world and was particularly excited to discover these ambitious remasters. Finally, when the formula was particularly attractive on paper, it struggled to materialize, making the experience unbearable for many players with many bugs and other technical or bizarre issues. From a community perspective, the title caused a really bad stir and Rockstar then set about producing numerous corrective updates to restore the situation.
Even at the end of February 2022, one has to assume that the developers still had their hands full since then The Starred R company has just announced that new updates will be arriving soon. Here’s what she said about it Twitter :
New updates for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition are coming next week on all platforms. We appreciate the patience and support of the community.
We don’t have an exact date or patch notes yet.but we imagine it won’t be long now.
A commercial hit despite the criticism
The announcement of this new patch may come as a surprise: not long ago, Take-Two (Rockstar’s parent company) CEO Strauss Zelnick claimed that the “Gaults have now been fixed”suggesting there wasn’t much to fix. He also allowed himself to add a very interesting detail: the title “worked very well”
It has been the case to say it since we only found out a few days ago that the trilogy had sold more than ten million copies worldwide. An excellent score, especially for a remaster and in such a short time. Even under the fire of criticism, the title has convinced more than one player.
