guerrilla game Some new story details have been dropped The mountain’s horizon callsgiving us a better idea of what to expect when it launches next month.
On the official PlayStation blog, Guerilla provided some story details about Call of the Mountain ahead of its February 22 launch alongside PSVR2. In Call of the Mountain, you play as the new character Ryas, a member of C arja from Shadow. The game continues the legacy of the Carja Sundom and the Red Raids, a series of attacks by neighboring tribes that resulted in the death of Gilan, the Mad Sun King. Carja in the Shadows is an offshoot of the Carja tribe, made up of soldiers loyal to Jiran, one of whom is our new protagonist, Ryas.
Rias was involved in the kidnapping of an important prince, but has since “seeked atonement and the restoration of honor”. According to Guerrilla’s narrative director Ben McCaw, “Rias ended up being on the wrong side for the right reasons. His family was torn apart and he ended up incarcerated. It’s a story about how he tries to get out of it.” come out of the story.”
The blog notes that the player encounters characters old and new, but his actions affect those relationships. “After fighting for Shadow Carja, Ryas’ relationship with these characters was hostile at best. If he hoped to be accepted, he needed to make progress and make amends,” McCaw explained.
Debuting in January 2022, Horizon Call of the Mountain is apparently one of the biggest games set to release on the same day as PSVR2. As a character, Ryas is known for his climbing abilities, and so far, it seems like you’ll be doing a few things like the ones shown in the game’s trailers, and of course some robotic dinosaurs.
