Guilty Gear: Effort and Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Both are declared as Xbox Game Pass, coming to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in Spring 2023. That means there are now two of the best anime fighters available for those with a Game Pass sub, easily accessible for those looking to learn some combos.

While neither are particularly new games, Strive is about a year old and Cross Tag Battle has been around for about 3 years, they both have existing online communities that are bound to get a healthy infusion of new players, which will take Credit to both being open to the Game Pass crowd.

Most recently this year, both games appeared at Evo 2022. Guilty Gear Stive has announced the second season of DLC characters alongside Bridget, a returning character from the series in the past, who went live just days after they were revealed in the game. Unfortunately, Cross Tag Battle didn’t get any major announcements on the same line.

Interestingly, the vast majority of these games have historically appeared on PlayStation consoles, with more and more games moving to PC due to the platform’s performance advantages. Neither Strive nor Cross Tag are cross-playable, so most existing players may not be able to interact with the new wave of players.
