The free-to-play shooter Gundam Evolution announced in March has finally left the beta phase and got a concrete release date and it’s coming soon.
Gundam Evolution is a 6vs6 hero shooter with strong Overwatch and Mech vibes. The free-to-play shooter has been in beta for quite some time and now it’s clear when the game will be released. PC players have it a bit better, because the Steam version will be released on September 22nd. Consoleros have to wait much longer, the date for Playstation and Xbox is December 1, 2022.
The monetization model of the shooter was also presented with a new trailer. Gundam Evolution will follow a seasonal model, with new mobile suits being introduced each season. For Season 1, the developers will add the Zaku II Melee Loadout, the Mahiroo, and the Unicorn Gundam. 12 suits are available right from the start, more can be unlocked via the in-game shop for Capital Points (can be earned) or ECO Coins (for real money).
There will be a Season Pass, which, as is so often the case, offers a free and a paid version, with the latter of course offering more and better rewards.
