CD PROJEKT RED announces the upcoming release of Price of Power, Gwent’s first expansion set. At the same time, the publisher presented the first expansion.
Price of Power is a series of three expansions related to the history of GWENT and dealing with the theme of magic and how different factions seek it out, fight for it, or use its power. The first expansion of the Price of Power-Set is called He was a pyre and introduced 26 new cards: 4 cards with different rarities per faction and 2 neutral cards. New game skills and mechanics are also introduced into the game, bringing powerful synergies to the battle.
For the arrival of this first expansion, players can take advantage of a limited-time special offer. The Price of Power expansion pass gives you access to all Price of Power premium cards. A selection of cards is available for each of the three expansions in the set and will be available at launch.
