super giant game Recently conducted technical testing Hades 2leading to some data mining of the game for future content.
Earlier this week, Supergiant conducted a technical test on Steam, finally giving people a chance to experience Hades 2 after announcing it in 2022. The game isn’t quite ready for Early Access yet, but the purpose of technical testing is to get Supergiant ready for an actual launch. Since the technical test isn’t even an early access release yet, this of course means that most of the ready content is locked away – however, some people have been data mining the test to find characters and other details that aren’t quite ready to be shared yet. In fact, as shared by the gaming Reddit subreddit, Supergiant Games contacted a user who shared some new character artwork and asked them to remove the tweet showing the artwork.

“Hey, we wanted to ask if you would like to delete this tweet containing Hades 2 datamining content,” a Twitter message from Supergiant Games read. “We mistakenly included content in the build that has not yet been made public. And we know there’s no malicious intent in releasing this or anything like it. It’s just an example of what we want players to find in an early access version of the game.” This is obviously an understandable request, as no developer wants the game to go into Early Access. Details of their hard work have been revealed before.

I definitely understand that you’re obviously feeling a little… well, hungry for all these new characters, to be blunt, but maybe it’s best not to discuss what’s in the game until everyone has had a chance to try it out for themselves. Hades 2 is expected to launch in early access this year, and judging from recent activity, it may be released soon, but if you’re interested, it will only be released on PC for now.
