Although there has been no official announcement from Valve about Half-Life 3, there are already various clues about the game. For example, details have already emerged about an actress who could work on the upcoming project.
The well-known data miner GabeFollower has now published a new video on YouTube in which he revealed further clues about Half-Life 3. He discovered these clues in the files of other Valve titles such as Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike 2.
According to his report, the upcoming game will be a “semi-open world” in which, among other things, there will be its own day and night cycle. He also found evidence of a dynamic weather system with improved rendering for water and grass.
There will also be smart NPCs that can interact with the player. Valve is apparently using new AI technologies for this.
Although the leaker does not give any exact details about the story, he suspects that the game could revolve around the XEN, a kind of border world between the different worlds in the Half-Life universe.
