Valve sees half-life: Alyx as a new starting point.
As old and boring as the "Half-Life 3" joke, completing the "Half-Life" story is what fans have wanted Valve to do for years. use Half-Life: Alyx On the horizon, many people wonder if this is once or return to the half-life world.
Robin Walker of Valve told Game Informer: "Half-life means a lot to us, and it's exciting to re-understand our role, scenes and mechanics."
He added: "Half-Life: Alyx team members have been working at Valve since Half-Life 2 and many have returned to the original Half-Life." -Alyx's previous life game. For these people, returning to the world is what they want to do.
Walker didn't say whether this meant Half-Life 3, but he did confirm that Alyx was the beginning of Valve's return to the series. Whether this means more virtual reality games or something else entirely remains to be seen.
"We definitely see Half-Life: Alyx as our return to this world, not the end of the world."
With Alyx coming soon, Valve has been releasing new game graphics, let's reexamine how the game takes advantage of this technology.
Half-Life: Alyx will launch PC VR on March 23.
