Halo Infinite is still a while away and the developers are currently a bit covered with details about the game. Some cool features have now been officially confirmed.
Microsoft is still in the process of pushing all platforms properly, both the old Xbox One, as well as PC and Xbox Series X / S. So it fits well that Halo Infinite is getting some cross-platform features, as has now been officially confirmed.
Accordingly, the game receives both cross-play and cross-progression between PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S. That means, no matter which platform you play on, you take your progress with you and can play together with your friends from other platforms.
Other features affect the PC version of the game. For this purpose, it has been confirmed that monitors in the ultrawide and super-ultrawide formats are also supported, as well as triple keybinding and extended graphics options.
Now the game just has to come. There is no exact date yet, but apparently autumn 2021 is being targeted after the game was massively postponed due to the rather negative feedback after the first performance.
