Halo, the TV adaptation of the popular Microsoft franchise, set Paramount+ records by becoming the streaming service’s highest-rated premiere. The show’s premiere knocked 1883 out, which isn’t a big deal considering the series is a prequel to the popular show Yellowstone.
Both shows were much hyped, and while 1883 was associated with Yellowstone, the Halo campaign served a dual purpose for the game’s fanbase, which had grown by more than 20, and those who liked sci-fi dramas.
Audience numbers for “Halo” aren’t provided, but the 1883 premiere of Paramount+ drew 4.9 million viewers after its premiere in Yellowstone, so we know that “Halo” numbers are bigger than 1883’s.
