Harley Quinn Spinoff Kite Runner: Hell Yeah! Gets Streaming Date, and Yes, It’s Apparently a Real Show

Apparently, date, Harley, hell, Kite, Quinn, real, Runner, Show, spinoff, streaming, Yeah

Kite Man: That’s great! is a very real Harley Quinn spinoff, and Warner Bros. has finally confirmed a release date for Max.

If you missed the news that the Harley Quinn animated series was getting a spinoff, I forgive you, because I did too. You’d think the spinoff might be about characters we know and love, like Poison Ivy, The Joke, and maybe even Batman (who would want an animated series about that guy), but no, instead someone chose to give us… Kite Man? Honestly, I didn’t even know the character existed, let alone in a Harley Quinn series – I know Batman has his fair share of quirky villains, like the Condiment King, Calendar Man, and Polka Dot Man, but Kite Man? Really?

Yesterday, the show released a new trailer, the first full trailer since the teaser trailer a few months ago, and announced Max’s premiere date: July 18, which is a few weeks away. As expected, the show continues Harley Quinn’s comedic style, once again portraying the character in a more sarcastic way. Bane seems to be at least a regular guest in the show, and one of the Justice League’s most terrifying enemies, Darkseid, also appears, although he seems happy to drink a cocktail made by Kite Man in the bar he owns.

The show does have quite a cast, with Matt Oberg returning as Kite Man, Stephanie Hsu as Golden Glider, James Adomian as Bane, Natasia Demetriou as Malice, Janelle James as Queen of Fables, Jonathan Banks as Noonan, Keith David as Darkseid, Michael Imperioli as Joe/Moe Dubelz, Rory Scovel as thug Gus, and Judith Light as Helen Villigan. Notably, the late Lance Reddick will also posthumously portray the one and only Lex Luthor – the Destiny 2 actor sadly passed away in 2023.

Harley Quinn will also be getting a fifth season at some point in the future, as the series was renewed last year, but not much has been revealed about the series since then.
