Film shootings often leave us with very curious anecdotes, especially when none of the viewers is aware of what is really happening behind the scenes at that moment. One of these cases took place 34 years ago with Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

This chapter of the saga will always be remembered for being the last of the three that Harrison Ford starred in in the 80s. That was until 20 years later when he put on the Indiana Jones hat again along with his whip in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and more recently with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Fate.

Even so, what we also remember with great affection this third installment was due to the fact that it featured Sean Connery acting as the father of Indiana Jones in the role of Henry Jones. Among the numerous scenes they shot together is the one inside the zeppelin, in which both actors are talking while seated at a table.

Well, in the same way that we want to be as cool as possible in summer, it seems that it was too hot on the set that day, so Sean Connery warned that he refused to shoot the scene if he was wearing pantsbecause he was convinced that he was going to sweat too much from wearing them.

So that he wouldn’t feel alone, Harrison Ford decided to follow the same exampleso to the eyes of any viewer it may seem that both are calmly at a table talking as if there was nothing strange in the environment, but in reality at that moment neither of them was wearing their pants.

That being said, the next time you watch the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade it will be practically impossible for you to see the scene in question in the same way again. Of course for the cameras and the rest of the team members it would be very funny to see them act while only fully dressed from the waist up.
