The developers of Elden Ring have changed a few things with patch 1.04, which should benefit the players. Group bosses have been secretly nerfed
What kind of boss was nerfed? The latest video from Illusory Wall focuses on the latest Elden Ring patch 1.04. As the YouTuber found out, changes were made to bosses in secret, but they weren’t listed in the patch notes. However, the changes only affect bosses that group against the player.
What exactly has changed? Apparently the developers have screwed on the AI of the bosses and made them less aggressive without further ado. However, there are two options for how group bosses act from now on:
- The boss that isn’t attacking the player is now less aggressive, causing at least one of the bosses to hold back more
- The number of
primary
Bosses have been reduced, which is why two or more enemies will no longer attack at the same time in the future.

Are all bosses in groups affected? no The fights with the Gargoyle Duo or the Crucible Knights have remained unchanged so far. Some group bosses only got one of the two nerfs, which is why they are only slightly weakened. In addition, the YouTuber does not show all boss fights, such as the god scalps, which is why they may have gotten away with them completely without any changes.
