Where to find the Stage Village Cenotaph in Dragon’s Dogma 2?
The enchanted cenotaph that the traveling merchant tells you about in the village stopover in Dragon’s Dogma II is located at the end of the path (east before the bridge) that leads to the Vermund border post. A well-trodden path leads you to this place of reflection.
What can you expect when you visit this place?
The Haunted Cenotaph isn’t a location that really deserves your attention in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Although the merchant tells you about it, it mainly serves as a clue (or a trap, it’s up to you) to come face to face with a lost soul, at least if you visit the place in the middle of the night.
These enemies are perfect for collecting resources and equipment for your mage or wizard.
Otherwise, the Cenotaph brings nothing other than a chest containing a shard of Awakening Stone. On the other hand, on the path that leads to the Cenotaph you will find many chests that you will of course have to collect as they contain a ceremonial cloak and some useful resources for crafting.
“Hidden in the darkness and capable of calling down powerful spells from the heavens, these monsters are spirits descended from deceased priests. Head-on battles against Lost Souls are particularly risky due to the amount of magic they can use.”
Although lost souls have magic, they are not immune to it.
Lost Souls can drop the following resources:
- Black crystal
- Pieces of equipment for magicians or wizards
- Potions
- Enhancement Grimoires
Aside from these elements, the Cenotaph isn’t very useful, but still provides a simple marker for searching for lost souls!
