"Last Us" is getting its own HBO series, which will be hosted by executives produced and written by Craig Mazin of Chernobyl and Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carolyn Strauss will also perform Our last Series with Evan Wells, Naughty Dog President.
This series will focus on the events of the original game and will include the second part of The Last Us.
"There is no doubt that Neil Druckmann is the best storyteller in video game media, and The Last Us is his masterpiece. Mazin said in a statement:" Yes Opportunity to adapt this amazing artwork has always been my dream, and for many years I have been honored to work with Neil to realize this dream. "
The show will be produced jointly by Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions. The co-president of Sony Pictures Television said it was "the first of many shows" developed in partnership with PlayStation Productions.
