Blizzard Entertainment is releasing another mini set for the trading card game Hearthstone and is using another large franchise from its own company: StarCraft.

The mini set “Heroes from StarCraft” is now available for the long-running trading card game Hearthstone, which awaits you with 49 new cards (instead of the usual 38 in mini sets). These consist of 4 legendary, 1 epic, 20 rare and 24 common cards and also include a special neutral card that does not belong to any faction: Gurgli.

The set is also divided into the three well-known StarCraft factions: Zerg, Protoss and Terran. Each faction has 5 cards that can be used by all classes within that faction, including a legendary hero card as their leader and three class-specific cards per class within the faction.

Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Hunters and Warlocks have joined the Zerg and are led by Sarah Kerrigan; They rely on aggressive swarm tactics, direct damage and lots of minions. Druid, magician, priest and rogue fight for the Protoss and follow the noble Artanis. They reduce the cost of their expensive minions and spells over the course of a game. Last but not least, the paladin, shaman and warrior belong to the Terrans led by Jim Raynor. They provide special starship synergies that make it easier to amass a battalion of troops.

Packs of the new mini set are available in packs from “The Great Dark Expanses” as well as a complete set of 94 cards. The regular version of the mini set is available for $20 / 2,500 gold, the all-gold version is available for $80 / 12,000 gold and also includes the legendary Gurgli diamond card as a bonus. Normal versions of each faction can be purchased for $10 / 1,200 gold.
