In December of last year, the next major card expansion for the Hearthstone trading card game appeared. Blizzard Entertainment is now delivering additional fresh game content in the new year, because the next solo adventure is already in the starting blocks.

The solo adventures turned out to be quite successful and popular last year, so fans of the Blizzard title have been longing for the next sequel. The next story campaign, which deviates somewhat from the classic card deck variant and focuses more on puzzle elements, is now imminent.
The final solo adventure as part of the "Year of the Dragon" will therefore be called "Galakrond's Awakening" and should be available from January 21, 2020. At the same time, this chapter concludes the storyline that started almost a year ago in April with "Rise of Shadows". In between, "Saviors of Uldum" was released in August.
The latest episode is located in the Northrend region of Dragonblight, which World of WarCraft players are sure to be familiar with from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. The skeleton dragon Galakrond can be found in Hearthstone.
Overall, there are two campaigns with 24 boss fights as part of the new solo adventure. In one campaign you take on the role of League of EVIL from "Rise of Shadows" and have to implement the plan to revive Galakrond, in the second you have to save Dragonblight by controlling the explorer league.
Noteworthy: With the new solo adventure Blizzard Entertainment returns to the original format, as you know it from "Curse of Naxxramas" from 2014. In the campaigns, you get ready-made decks with which you have to defeat the respective boss. If you complete the entire storyline and defeat the opponents, you can unlock a total of 35 new cards, which can then also be used in the competitive game modes. The bosses will be released in four releases on a weekly basis; each section has two chapters – one for each campaign. The first release is free of charge, all others cost 700 in-game gold.
