Hearthstone players once again have a fresh game mode to discover. This is the new battlefield: Duos.
Blizzard Entertainment is giving the traditional battlefield a new update with a fresh game mode in Hearthstone Season 7. This is called Battlefield: Duos and will be available from April 16, 2024. Then you can jump into the fray with new fairytale cards and rewards.
The Duos mode – as the name suggests – has the motto “Two heads are better than one”. It’s a new co-op mode that you can tackle with a friend. You can queue up together and compete against three other teams of two players. You share life points, pass cards to each other through the portal for 1 gold and fight against your opponents in a tag team.
In the main menu of the Battlefield, the update allows you to switch between the classic mode for single player and Battlefield: Duos. In the Duos menu you can then invite a team member or queue up alone to be assigned a random team member. Battlefield ratings will reset in Season 7 and Battlefield quests will leave the Inn.
Apart from the new game mode, there are new heroes and servants. There are new heroes and cards only available in duos that are tailored to the gameplay of this mode. Specifically, there are four heroes, 16 servants and three inn spells that are new.
Season 7 also brings a big update for minions for the classic single-player battlefield. 50 new servants are starting, more than a dozen are returning and there are a few new inn spells. In addition, wild animals will be revised, dragons and mechs will be updated and further balance adjustments await you.
