Helicopter will land on Microsoft Flight Simulator in 2022

It looks like the helicopter will finally arrive at the Microsoft Flight Simulator next year.

The developers also rarely introduced all the features that the community has been asking for, and which stage of development they are in (if any). So far, what is most needed is to add helicopters, which have already received more than 1,500 tickets. In the development plan, the helicopter is marked as “planning” and the release target is 2022.

The list also includes about 47 other requests from players, some of which are also in progress, while others are under investigation. As the player correctly pointed out, the highly detailed map of the Microsoft Flight Simulator is very suitable for low-altitude flight, and the helicopter can capture it perfectly.

Helicopters will be the main product of Microsoft Flight Simulator, just like military jets (we launch in November). Considering that this feature is planned, I think we will start to hear about it sooner or later.

The next important moment for Microsoft Flight Simulator is its release on Xbox Series X/S on July 27. On the same day, due to CPU optimization, the performance of the game has also been greatly improved.
