After the successful launch on the PC, shooter fans will soon be offered new material with a World War II setting on the new consoles. Hell Let Loose has now received a corresponding release date.
The more well-known shooter from World War II will certainly be Call of Duty: Vanguard this fall, but there is also a respectable alternative on consoles. After Black Matter’s Hell Let Loose was launched on the PC in July, the title is now also coming to the new consoles via Team17.
In a press release, both companies have jointly confirmed that the strategic 50v50 squad shooter will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S from October 5, 2021. The console release goes hand in hand with the support of cross-play, so that consoleros on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S can play together and against each other.
Hell Let Loose is designed to offer you an immersive and authentic war experience on the Western Front. There are ten cards and two game modes to choose from when the console starts; the latter are offensive and warfare.
Pre-orders for the console version of the shooter are possible from 7:00 p.m. this evening. This is particularly worth mentioning for those interested in the PS5, because here those who decide early and who strike now get guaranteed access to a beta test phase planned for this month. This is to be carried out on the Sony console from September 16 to 20. In the said beta you can let off steam in advance in the warfare mode on the “Hurgen Forest” map.
Pre-orders on Xbox Series X / S, however, receive the cosmetic DLC “The Silver Vanguard”. The maps of Stalingrad and Kursk on the Eastern Front, which are already available in the PC version, are to be delivered to the consoles only in winter as part of additional content, which will then be free of charge.
