Xbox Series players who have been waiting for Helldivers 2 have been in tears since its release, but they are entitled to a consolation prize.
Helldivers 2 is THE PlayStation sensation of the moment. The game is also available on PC, but will soon require a mandatory PSN account to use. For what ? We ignore it. Still, it strengthens the connection between the game and the PlayStation, it’s an exclusive for a reason. Because of this, Xbox Series players can’t take advantage of it and yet there is still demand. But don’t worry, the fans have thought of you, you’ll get a little something soon.
Fans are creating their own Helldivers 2 for the Xbox Series
And we need to focus on the side of Halo Infinite, more specifically the community that is addicted to Forge, the extremely permissive sandbox that offers players a whole range of creation tools. And one of the most active and well-known groups, The Forge Falcons, is preparing something big: Helljumpera homemade Helldivers.
Thanks to the tools at their disposal and a good dose of talent, they are in the process of reproducing a Helldivers 2 like on Halo Infinite. The project is huge and everything should be available online by June. Although it’s still a work in progress, aspiring builders have been sharing some of their work on social media and it’s pretty incredible. We have a real atmosphere in the different maps that are revealed and the work that has been put into creating war strategies is not neglected, although according to the creators of this game mode there is still a lot of optimization to be done.
A game mode that promises to be incredible for Halo Infinite
Players will eventually be able to fight as a UNSC soldier, flinging themselves across the map and taking on enemies using stratagems like in Helldivers 2. The creatives behind the project even went so far as to create a full OST to play in Halo Infinite’s new game mode. Since La Forge doesn’t offer the ability to add music, you’ll be able to find the new and exclusive compositions on Spotify when everything launches in June. Ultimately, you’ll be able to play the closest thing to Helldivers 2 on Halo Infinite thanks to Forge Mode. All you need to do is download the relevant packages on PC and Xbox Series. We are waiting to see it first hand.
