The Helldivers 2 modding community has been putting out some cool stuff lately – especially if you like games like Crazy Taxi or Halo 3: ODST. As far as I can tell, it looks like the first complete “Warbond” mod has just been released for the game, and it looks pretty awesome.
Before we go any further, it's worth mentioning that this mod is technically Warbond-like and doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the official Warbonds Arrowhead launches with, but if it's just about trying new armor elements that you care about, it's It can definitely meet your needs.

Modder Jayypino, the main creator of this “Modded Warbond”, named it “Dogmatic Reach” for reasons that will soon become obvious.
Basically, it contains some new armor sets and helmets that are a mix of Helldivers 2 and Halo 3: ODST gear – meaning you get a cleaner look, but not as jarring as mods can be fashion. Just have you dress up as Master Chief or something like that. Jayypino writes that it's “something different but familiar” with “customized vanilla-style textures” that “should match the vanilla armor nicely”.
Each new armor set – which replaces existing in-game sets – looks to come with alternative paint job options to add some intimidating teeth and blue colorways to your helmet, matching another one made by Jayypino A custom Warbond style mod to match the Severe Situation Team's “SEAF Experts”.
You'll need to grab the latest version of Teutinsa's “HD2 Mod Manager” to try out the mod and aura its three new armors – the Chimera, Hydra, and Cyclops sets.
