To mark the PlayStation's 30th anniversary, Japanese magazine Famitsu conducted a major survey of gamers. With nearly 4,000 votes, this ranking highlights the most notable games in the brand's history. And at the top? It's not surprising Final Fantasy 7an RPG monument.
A tribute to PlayStation classics
The PlayStation list reflects gamers' love of games that defined their era. JRPGs occupy an important place in this list. Square Enix boasts five ranked final fantasy titles, including Final Fantasy 10 (4.) and Final Fantasy 9 (15th). There are also essentials like Xenogears (3.) and Dragon Quest 8.
Capcom and Konami are not left out. Three games Monster hunter Rise in the ranking, with Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G in second place. On the Konami site, Metal Gear Solid (7.) and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (18e) recall the impact of infiltration games on the history of video games.
