announcements, Remember

The Star Wars celebration was an opportunity to kick off the year and fill in projects around the saga. Here is the information to remember.

The Star Wars Celebration, THE gathering of Star Wars fans of the year, was an opportunity for Disney to talk a little bit about video games, but of course also about cinema and television series. Star Wars in all sauces, as you will see.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, a trailer that pleases

It had to happen one day, a sequel to Fallen Order in due form. It’s called Jedi Survivor and we tell you about it here. The game takes place 5 years after the events of the first episode and is still being developed by Respawn Entertainment with Electronic Arts as publisher. Star Wars Jedi Survivor will be released in 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.

Star Wars: Ahsoka, a teaser on the run

If there’s one character that fans (and others) love, it’s Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s former student whose life during the post-Star Wars Rebels era is steeped in mystery. The opportunity to discover his adventures. For now, despite a leak or two, the short teaser of the SW Celebration isn’t available yet. In the live-action teaser, we were able to see Ahsoka who is in the process of recruiting the Mandalorian Sabine Wren to help her in her search for Ezra Bridger, who went missing in the Unknown Regions with Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The Mandalorian season 3 confirmation and date

How can we talk about Star Wars without mentioning The Mandalorian? The series that has become iconic thanks to a rather brilliant direction by Jon Favreau and in particular Dave Filoni, evoking talented directors and directors such as a certain Bryce Dallas Howard (who stars as an actress in Jurassic World). Season 3 of The Mandalorian is scheduled for Disney+ in February 2023. And we know a legendary villain will be back.

Star Wars: Andor unveils its first trailer

We were able to discover the very first trailer of Andor, which focuses on the character of the same name that we were able to discover in Rogue One. Set to take place a few years before A New Hope, the series also provides an opportunity to learn more about the creation of the Empire across the galaxy. We should find Forest Whitaker in the role of Saw Gerrera and Ben Mendelsohn for his role of Orson Krennic in the casting for the occasion. Star Wars: Andor will be available on Disney+ on August 31, 2022.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch is back for a second season

Our team of charismatic clones will be back, we learned that at the Star Wars celebration. With the discovery of a trailer, you have the opportunity to continue following the adventures of Clone Force 99. This new season should be full of emblematic characters with the arrival of Emperor Palpatine or Commander Cody. The series is slated to release on Disney+ this fall without further details.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, a new 3D animated series

There are also novelties about which nothing was known, except for rare rumors. We were able to discover Tales of The Jedi, a miniseries that unfortunately does not yet have an official trailer. This should focus on characters like Count Dooku and Ahsoka Tano (who likely have a lot to do with the live-action series).

Star Wars: Visions, the UFO is getting a second season

The 2D animated series Made In Japan is getting a second season, this time featuring artists from around the world such as India and France. Same principle as the first season with each episode = a different artistic direction. A true visual delight. To see all of this, however, we’ll have to wait until spring 2023.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, Jude Law in casting

Finally, the last announcement to remember concerns Skeleton Crew, who will have to follow the adventures of children lost on the edge of the galaxy. The series in question must take place in the same time frame as The Mandalorian. All we know is that the casting will be about Jude Law. We’ll have to wait until 2023 and we don’t yet know if it will be a live-action or 3D series. Logically with Jude Law in the cast…
