Konami reveals the full schedule and clubs participating in the eFootball Championship 2022. A competition divided into two tournaments: the Pro and the Open with players from all over the world.
eFootball has been available in its full version since April, passes the second and communicates about the establishment of its Championship 2022 tournaments.
The eFootball Championship Pro is a competition in which players from the best European clubs compete thanks to their eSports team. There will be some for this 2022 edition 8 participants: Galatasaray, FC Barcelona, FC Celtic, AS Monaco, AS Roma, FC Bayern Munich, Manchester United and FC Barcelona.
As with any tournament, this one will have multiple phases and here are the dates and times.
- Saturday 4 June: Draw
- Saturday 11th June and Sunday 12th June: Group Stage Days 1 and 2
- Saturday 18th June and Sunday 19th June: Group stage, days 3 and 4
- Saturday 25 June: quarter-finals and semi-finals
- Sunday 26 June: Third place match and final
These clashes will be broadcast on eFootball’s social networks and there are prizes up for grabs for those who follow the event closely.
Several campaigns launched by participating clubs will also take place during the Championship Pro and allow fans to win gifts according to the results of the matches. For more information on campaigns during Championship Pro, please follow the club’s official announcements and in-game news.
Another competition open to all
Second, players of all persuasions can showcase their talents on the virtual pitches of eFootball 2022 with the Championship Open. No eSports team needed here, just a console (PS5, PS4, Xbox series, Xbox One), PC (via Steam) or iOS/Android device.
