Despite the many criticisms and the dwindling number of players, Dice Battlefield 2042 has by no means given up. Season 1 is just around the corner and is being prepared with a large patch. We’ll show you all the changes in the overview and present you with the highlights.

The highlights from Patch 1.0.0
Since the list of changes is incredibly long, we’re giving you some of the highlights from the patch notes along the way:
- Several improvements to soldier gameplay that will result in smoother animations and movement overall.
- Updated weapon netcode to improve hit registration.
- We’ve also made another balance pass that includes increased projectile speeds for DMRs and LMGs, as well as improved accuracy for shotguns.
- Added several new XP events, e.g. B. for killing an enemy that recently wounded or killed a squadmate, or when an enemy vehicle that you recently damaged is destroyed by a teammate and the occupants are killed.
- The number of available vehicles in the world has been increased for Conquest, which should make it easier to move around the map.
- Sundance’s wingsuit has been adjusted to reduce flight time while increasing maneuverability. To simplify her specialty, the EMP Field Smart Explosive has been removed.

How big is the update?
The update is at the 10GB large and can be downloaded now. There is also no server downtime, which is why you can try the new patch directly.
When is the patch coming?
Patch 1.0.0 will be released on Tuesday June 7th on all available platforms.
What’s next?
The presentation of the first season will take place on Tuesday, June 7th at 5:00 p.m. Europe time. And can on the official YouTube-Kanal be tracked.
