That name, Fanatec, might not mean much to you. It must be said that it is above all the most experienced and passionate users who know the brand. Fanatec is the gear expert for racing simulation games. Steering wheels, pedals, shift levers and everything that comes after, Fanatec is very knowledgeable and even an expert in the field!

But like all sectors of the industry, Fanatec also suffered from the shortage of components. With COVID-19 and the various restrictions that have slowed or even stopped production lines, industries related to computer components have lost availability of certain products.

And Fanatec, in the face of this crisis, could only decide to review the prices of some of its products.

We’ve been taking on and managing the manufacturing and logistics costs for over a year, but now it’s time to make some adjustments. Starting March 17, 2022, several products in the CSL, Clubsport and Podium lines will be priced higher. However, we keep changes to a minimum and many products remain the same – for example, we keep the base price for the main component of our ecosystem: steering wheel bases.

Based on a re-evaluation of our pricing structure, we were able to lower the price of a small number of our products and these changes have already been made. We wanted to notify you before we apply next week’s price increase.

We will continue to work hard to deliver value, innovation and performance across the entire Fanatec product line.

But after applying the new amounts, we could see that the best shuttlecocks we selected stayed the same price!

Make no mistake, however, if this continues, the price of shuttlecocks will really go up. And given the price they’re displayed at, we can safely say they don’t need that.
