This debate is as old as the world (or almost). What is the best Japanese anime of all time? When some of the classics like One Piece, Naruto or Dragon Ball dominate Japanese animation head and shoulders, these pop culture icons are indeed struggling to make the TOP 100!

The best anime ever

With a rating of 9.10/10 on MyAnimeList, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has been at the top of the leaderboard for a number of years. However, it was recently dethroned by “Oshi no Ko” for a few days before regaining the status it deserves, according to 2.004 million users. The rest of the TOP 5 are covered by the last chapters of the final season of Attack on Titan (2nd), Steins;Gate (3rd), “Oshi No Ko” (4th) and finally Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (5th). .

That should be emphasized Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece do not appear in the top 50 spots of the MyAnimeList ranking. Worse, the first two cities are simply missing from the TOP 100, unlike the work of Eiichiro Oda, which finished a shy 54th thanks to a score of 8.69/10. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is 67th, Jujutsu Kaisen 68th, Death Note 75th, and Chainsaw Man 83rd. With hundreds of thousands of voters, sometimes even millions, this admittedly subjective ranking can hardly be questioned.
