A very gorgeous video Lana Planet It was shown off today, giving us some new gameplay.
Announced during the 2021 Summer Game Festival, Planet of Lana is a cinematic puzzle-adventure game made up of an epic sci-fi saga spanning centuries and galaxies. The protagonist of the game is a young girl and her faithful friend Mei, who are on a rescue mission to save the girl’s sister.
Experience the story through footage in a cinematic side-scrolling game format in a colorful world full of machines and unknown creatures. From a gameplay standpoint, it’s not just an adventure, but includes platforming, puzzles, tense stealth sequences, and companion mechanics that allow the duo to use their abilities together.
The trailer, shown during today’s Developer Day following the Summer Game Fest showcase, gave us a look at parts of the game we haven’t seen yet, as well as some mysterious machines that crashed into the peaceful world of Lana. Creative Director Adam Stjarnljus will walk you through the gameplay shown.
With a score from award-winning and BAFTA-nominated composer Takeshi Furukawa (The Last Guardian), and in development by Wishfully Studios, Planet Lana will release on PC and Xbox this year.
