Normally discreet, Hideo Kojima responded to Norman Reedus on Twitter regarding the possible Death Stranding 2 leak. Does the Japanese creator confirm the game?
During a recent interview for Leo, Norman Reedus reconfirmed that he’s working on Death Stranding 2. A statement that prompted Hideo Kojima, the creator of the franchise, to react on Twitter.
Kojima seems to be taking the Death Stranding 2 leak well
For the second time in less than a year, Norman Reedus has announced that Death Stranding 2 is in development. Surprising statements considering the actor is said to be upholding a non-disclosure agreement. If Hideo Kojima hadn’t said anything beforehand, he didn’t let that “second ball” slip away. But he seems to take it with a smile and humor. Taking to his Twitter account, the Japanese developer posted pictures of him holding Negan’s (The Walking Dead) studded bat as he prepares to “punish” Norman Reedus. Pictures accompanied by a message “Go back to your private room my friend”in reference to the room where the character of Sam Porter Bridges rests in DS, and a smiley face full of love.
These pictures are not new but were taken in 2018 when Hideo Kojima visited Norman Reedus on the set of The Walking Dead season 9. He had even met Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan). With that reaction, Mr. Kojima still seems to be adding fuel to the fire, thereby legitimizing Reedus’ claims of the existence of a Death Stranding 2. The first game to sell over 5 million copies is available from its director Cut version on PS5 and PC.
