Hideo Kojima’s book “Given Genes and My Favorite Memes” is being translated into English.
Kojima’s book was originally published in Japan in 2019. The book published a paper written by Kojima and discussed his inspiration.
The English title of the book is “Creative Genes: How Books, Movies, and Music inspired the creators of Death Stranding and Metal Gear Solid.”
This book will be published by Viz (thanks to Polygon), and it will also include the chat history between the author and the musician/actor Ken Hoshino, who appeared in death stranding in his song “Popular Virus”.

This book will be published on October 12.
