Unexpectedly comes often: One of the biggest Xbox surprise hits of the recent past is now also available for the PlayStation – without much prior notice!
In addition to the PC in the console area, High on Life was previously only available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. There the title turned out to be a great success in Game Pass. Now, somewhat surprisingly, the developers at Squanch Games have also made PlayStation gamers happy.
The studio, founded by Rick & Morty creator Justin Roiland, has suddenly released PS4 and PS5 versions of High on Life without much notice. These can already be used immediately via PlayStation Store available in digital form. Shortly before the release, the game had already been leaked in the PlayStation database, now it was published promptly – unusually over a weekend.
High on Life is sci-fi horror shooter with crude humor. The title will also receive a larger DLC with “High on Knife”, which was only announced some time ago; this one will continue to build on the formula of the base game.
Matching the PlayStation release, there is also a fresh trailer that you can watch below. In this one you get impressions of the first-person shooter action that you can expect from the title.
