There are a number of side activities you can engage in on RDR2, including treasure hunts. In this article, we’ll focus specifically on the latter, namely “High Stakes Treasure” or “Trésor à hautes stakes” in French.
Summary
- Where can I find the first card in High Stakes Treasure?
- The second card of “High Stakes Treasure”
- The last card of “High Stakes Treasure”
Where can I find the first card in High Stakes Treasure?
To find the first map in Red Dead Redemption 2 you have to go to the area that we have marked you in red on the map below. There you have to walk around since It’s not a location, but an NPC that you have to find!
The latter is an old treasure hunter who happens to have a map in his possession, and I might as well tell you that he is not particularly enthusiastic about the idea of giving it to you. You therefore have to strongly “convince” him to trust you with this.
There’s no need to kill him though! Well, if you want, you can, but the idea is just to get him to drop the card. It is enough to tie him up with a lasso or to attack him while running. to restore the latter, which is actually a drawing.
If you cannot find the location marked there, we recommend that you take a look at the map below where we have shown it to you. All you have to do is go behind the waterfall to find the cache and a second map!
The second card of “High Stakes Treasure”
As before, this is a drawing that is offered to you as a “High Stakes Treasure” treasure map. This time You will see a small lake that seems to be at the foot of a mountain and which is surrounded by some trees that look like pine trees.
To find this area, go to the point indicated on the map below in the western part of Ambarino. Then take the log to get to the rock in the middle of the lake. Stop in the middle of this bridge to find the cache and the third map.
The last card of “High Stakes Treasure”
Oh surprise, this third map of the High Stakes Treasure Hunt is also a raffle! This time we see two mountains that seem to overlook a camp with an arrow which requires us to pass between these two mountains to find the reward.
So let’s get started this time in Fort Wallace, which lies northeast of the city of Valentineas shown on the map above to find the location shown in the drawing you just collected in the second part of High Stakes Treasure.
Once you get there, you have to go to the two ledges to the east and pass in the middle of the two as shown in the drawing, then turn left and go down You will see a ledge that you must take and at the end of which is the treasure.
