Stalker 2 is one of the most anticipated titles for the single player FPS enthusiast. It hasn’t stopped spilling a lot of ink since it was announced. It will flow a little more with this sad announcement.
Sad news in January 2022: STALKER 2 will be postponed by 7 (long) months. Now we have to wait for them December 8, 2022 to be able to “walk” in the zone.

We have decided to postpone the release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl to December 8th, 2022.
These additional seven months of development time are necessary in order to realize our vision and to achieve the desired end state of the game. STALKER 2 is the biggest project in GSC history and it takes more tests and exams to perfect.
It’s not an easy decision, but we do our best to deliver a game that meets your expectations.

STALKER 2 is initially planned for the PC and Xbox series. It should appear later (in 2023, a priori) on PlayStation 5.
