Hoenn Return Challenge in Pokémon Go: All Tasks and Their Rewards

We continue with the review of the 2020 Return Challenge of Pokmon go, the great nostalgic event that is taking place this May in the Niantic game. Since today may 15 the series of challenges of the Hoenn region of the third generation of the franchise (after having had Johto's challenges in the last week). Below we show you all the details of the Hoenn Return Challenge, with the complete list of tasks what you can complete and its rewards.

How long is the Hoenn Return Challenge?

The duration The Hoenn Return Challenge in Pokmon Go is as follows:

Begins: Friday, May 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. local time.
Ends: Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. local time.

Therefore we have a whole week to participate in this challenge. When finished, it will lead to the next round of challenges in the Sinnoh region.

Characteristics of the Hoenn Return Challenge

During the days of this Hoenn challenge, we have the following features and bonus assets in Pokmon Go:

Skitty, Zangoose and Seviper: They will appear wild more often.
The Pokmon originally discovered in the Hoenn region: They will also appear on raids.
The following Pokmon will appear when hatching 7km Eggs: Lotad, Slakoth, Nincada, Skitty, Sableye, Mawile, Trapinch, Feebas and Clamperl.
In honor of Rayquaza: who was chosen in the vote of Pokmon of the Year as the discovered Pokmon favorite of the Hoenn region, Pikachu with Rayquaza hat will appear wild
With a little luck: you could find a Skitty variocolor.
You may carry out field research tasks exclusive to the event: They will feature reward encounters with Pokmon from the Hoenn region.
The distances needed to hatch Eggs: inside the Incubators and to earn Candy f or walking with your partner will be cut in half.

Phase 1/9

Catch 3 Grass, Water or Fire Pokmon: 10 Pok Balls.
Claim a reward: 5 rare candies.
Catch a Rock-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: Encounter with Nosepass, 2 Golden Raspberry Berry, 1 Raspberry Berry.

Phase 2/9

Give more power to a Pokmon: 5 golden raspberry berry.
Make 3 good pitches: meeting with Lairon.
Catch a Fighting-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: 1 Raspberry Berry, 2 Golden Raspberry Berry, Encounter with Hariyama.

Phase 3/9

Send a gift to a friend: 1 incense.
Do 3 curve ball pitches: meeting with Wailmer.
Catch an Electric-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase rewards: 1 Golden Raspberry Berry, 2 Raspberry Berry, encounter with Manectric.

Phase 4/9

Get a candy walking with your partner: meeting with Trapinch.
Capture 3 weather-powered Pokmon: meeting with Bagon.
Catch 3 Fire-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase rewards: 1 raspberry berry, 2 golden raspberry berry, encounter with Camerupt.

Phase 5/9

Make 3 great releases: encounter with Shedinja.
Power 3 Pokmon: 10 Super ball.
Catch a Pokmon of Normal type: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: 2 Raspberry Berry, 1 Golden Raspberry Berry, Encounter with Slakoth.

Phase 6/9

Catch 1 Water, Electric or Bug type Pokmon: 10 Ultra ball.
Fight against another coach: meeting with Absol.
Catch a Flying-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: 1 Raspberry Berry, 2 Golden Raspberry Berry, Encounter with Swellow.

Phase 7/9

Catch a Ghost-type Pokmon: 5 revive.
Give your partner 3 prizes: 1 MT loaded.
Catch a Psychic-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: 2 Raspberry Berry, 1 Golden Raspberry Berry, encounter with Claydol.

Phase 8/9

Take a snapshot of a Water-type Pokmon: meeting with Clamperl.
Evolve into a Pokmon: 1 star piece.
Catch a Water-type Pokmon: 500 stardust.

Phase Rewards: 1 Raspberry Berry, 2 Golden Raspberry Berry, Encounter with Sealeo.

Phase 9/9

Claim the reward: 3000 XP.
