It’s not uncommon for games to circulate a few days before release. However, Hogwarts Legacy is a case of hardship, numerous fans have already received their copy a week before publication. A reason for joy for some, while others use their premature knowledge to ruin the fun of other players. Therefore, the developers issue a clear warning.
In exactly one week, on February 10th, 2023, the time has finally come and you can attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At least if you play Hogwarts Legacy on PC, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. If you are already looking forward to your visit to the educational institution, you should be careful. Because some players have already received their copy and use it for lazy spells.

Instead of just being happy and playing in peace, there are of course people who are posting spoilers about Hogwarts Legacy online. That’s why the developers of Avalanche Software are now warning all those who are still waiting until the actual release via Twitter. They recommend muting the relevant hashtags on the social media platform and, if you are particularly afraid, even setting your own account to private. For your own account, you have also deactivated the comments until the day of publication.
These are not the first issues developers will face prior to the release of Hogwarts Legacy. Even leaving aside the controversy surrounding Harry Potter author JK Rowling. Only recently there was a fat leak in which details such as the game time of the action adventure became known. In addition, after a gameplay presentation, many fans expressed concerns that the game could become too easy.
