Gaming News Hogwarts Legacy: The Harry Potter game also on Nintendo Switch? Clues breed doubt
You surely hear about Hogwarts Legacy these days, and with good reason: Sony ran the detailed presentations last night during a State of Play dedicated to it. The opportunity to know that the game will be released on Switch a priori…
Hogwarts everywhere in your hands?
That is confusing. Since its announcement Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy never stated it would come to Switch, with the only consoles stated always being PS5 (on which last night’s gameplay was recorded), PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC.
And yet, recently The title’s official website features a Nintendo Switch logo at the bottom of the page, proudly displayed al ongside those of the Sony and Microsoft consoles.
A Harry Potter game without Harry Potter
If Hogwarts Legacy is so expected, it’s not only because of its attractive open-world promises, but also because it will tell an entirely new story in the Harry Potter universe. In reality, our bespectacled wizard will not be the hero and most of the familiar faces from the movies or books will not be present as the action will take place at the end of the 19th century!
We’ll then step into the shoes of a Hogwarts student, previously created using a character editor, who will face the terrible menace of goblins determined to make their revolution. You can also explore the school, its mysteries and its external surroundings with complete freedom, on foot, on a broomstick or on the back of a griffin: in short, the possibilities are more than tempting.
