When Michael Graf wore glasses, some people said he looked like Harry Potter. Still, he’s never been able to do anything with the Potterverse. He never read the books and watched the dramatic film finale to the roar of turbines on a smartphone-sized airplane screen. In short: Harry Potter doesn’t give a damn to Micha.
T he reason he still played Hogwarts Legacy is because he loves its genre dearly: the open-world role-playing games. And there was another representative this year, also with a magician sett ing: Forspoken. That Micha also played.
Although Hogwarts Legacy also has clear weaknesses, it also has great strengths – which become particularly clear when you compare the Potter game with Forspoken.

Micha discusses this with two Potter fans in the podcast:
Together we talk about the similarities in the open-world design of Hogwarts Legacy and Forspoken: Both do not see their game world as a dynamic sandbox, but as a backdrop in which we tick off tasks. The latter always follow the same patterns as with Ubisoft.
The fact that ticking off tasks in Hogwarts Legacy still feels more worthwhile is due to the trappings: while we explore an atmospheric but also barren world in Forspoken, Hogwarts and its surroundings are bursting with loving details. Hogwarts Legacy also manages to get into the world better than Forspoken, as even a non-Potter fan Micha has to acknowledge.
Our opinions differ widely on the subject of equipment and crafting: While both feel completely set up for Micha and sometimes even annoy him, Dennis even praises Hogwarts Legacy as having one of the best crafting systems he has ever seen. Natalie doesn’t want to take sides, but she does.

Well, or less briefly and concisely, when Micha has to defend himself against Géraldine’s infamous vampire accusations.
