yes guys the latest bit Hollow Knight: Silk Song The news is here, confirming it is absolutely, absolutely, 100% coming to PS4 and PS5.
game station Earlier this week, it itself confirmed the news on its official Twitter account (September 16), writing “Sharpen your needles – Confirmed Hollow Knight: Silksong is coming to PS5 and PS4.” Of course, That’s Silksong news, as far as the scope of the update goes, but it’s good to know that the game is coming to at least a range of platforms.
Earlier this year at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, we got another clip of the Silksong game, confirming that the game is also coming to Xbox consoles, but didn’t specify which one. It was also announced that the game would be live on Day One of Game Pass, a huge win for subscribers to the service. But there’s no mention of whether it will be available on any of the PlayStation Plus expansion tiers.
Silksong, for those who somehow haven’t seen the wave of news that pops up on basically every Nintendo Direct, is 2017’s Hollow Knight, a bug-themed standalone Metroidvania highly anticipated cherries.
Hollow Knight was initially partially funded through Kickstarter, and as long as plans don’t change, backers should get a free copy when Silksong launches.
The original Hollow Knight was met with critical acclaim, with many enjoying the world-building, art style, and tough but tight gameplay. Silksong will be starring Hornet in the first game, another character and occasional boss that was originally intended to be added via DLC as a second playable character, then the Cherry team eventually realized the scope was too large and needed to make a whole new game.
We’ve only seen a few gameplay clips since the announcement, which usually doesn’t quell the intense excitement players have for the game.
