It is undeniable that the Shadowlands of the Elden Ring is not a very friendly place, as there are the most dangerous enemies everywhere who will have no problem launching themselves at us to destroy us. However, thanks to the mods we can make everything takes on a “more friendly” aspect.
This has been shown, for example, by the youtuber ToastedShoeswho has installed a few mods created by the channel Garden of Eyes to make the world of FromSoftware’s masterpiece a wildly wacky experience. More than anything because what he has done is modify the appearance of all characters by other faces that will be very familiar to you.
Without going any further, our protagonist becomes homer simpsons, so you can see that the character of The Simpsons can do more than just sit on the couch. But that’s not all, because among the common enemies we see Elmo, My Little Pony, Pepe the Frog and even Sonic himself.
And if you want something else, even the final bosses transform into other characters, like Shrek on a Donkey and even King Julien from Madagascar. This way at least the combats will be somewhat more comical and not so frustrating after being crushed by any of them.
Beyond all this, on the page of NexusMods you can find dozens of different mods to change certain aspects of the Elden Ring. Taking a look above we can see that there are a few designed to modify the pieces of equipment or certain details of our protagonist, although there are also many others that affect the gameplay itself.
