Recently, fans of the turn-based gacha were treated to various announcements about the upcoming 2.4 update, although the Mihoyo title just welcomed two new characters as part of 2.3. However, information about another future update, 2.5, has been leaked via a post on Reddit.
We see the names of three characters – Lingsha, Feixiao and Moze – from Update 2.5 (expected in a few months), as well as that of Tingyun, who is already present in the game. This four-star buffer is mentioned in this post and is said to have a new form. There is no information about the nature of this form in this leak. It is about the character design of the character.

But why then do the developers decide to rework a character that has already been released? First of all, it should be noted that this has already been done for other major protagonists of the series, such as the Pioneer or Dan Heng. This form change is actually a path change for the character and changes the way he should be played.
Finally, Tingyun is a character we had already seen in the “Luofu of Xianzhou” story arc before she disappeared for various reasons. Given that the future characters in the game are all from the Luofu faction of Xianzhou, we assume that the crew of the Astral Express could return there, so nothing is official. But it would be a good reason for Mihoyo to bring back the only character in the story who disappeared.
