Helldivers 2 is a lot of fun, but its terrible servers actually keep you from playing it. Thankfully for those of you who have struggled to get into the wildly popular game to fight robot Vietnam every time you boot it up, the game’s latest patch includes a feature designed to stop AFK players from clogging up server space. Function.

Yes, not long after the patch that fixed the dreaded black screen startup issue and made speedy play less of a cursed experience, Arrowhead is back with a few more tweaks. Patch 1.000.11 isn’t too big, but it does have some nice tweaks.

As stated in the patch notes that have been deployed on PS5 and PC, one of its most noteworthy changes is the implementation of “the ability to kick players back to the title screen after 15 minutes of inactivity.” Yes, you no longer have to leave the game running when you’re not actually playing it to avoid losing your server spot and being sent back to the login queue.

Of course, we all long for the day when you can come and go from Hellraiser 2 as you please, but this is a nice little temporary fix. That’s assuming people can’t find a workaround, such as holding down the enter key when leaving a room or taking a nap.

Among other things, the patch fixes “multiple crashes that were triggered when joining another player’s ship,” as well as a crash that was triggered by failing a Super Credit purchase and leaving the session “during a bombing event.”

You also shouldn’t be dealing with online missions in the Galactic War map right now that are “unselectable” for some reason, unable to access your ship’s admin panel, or stuck in some introductory cutscene.

If you’re eagerly awaiting the deployment of the original Hellraiser mecha in Hellraiser 2, then hopefully you won’t have to wait too long.
