After the successful Horizon: Zero Dawn, many PlayStation fans are sure to be waiting for the successor, which should appear in February. A new trailer whets even more appetite for the game.
Horizon: Forbidden West is likely to be one of the absolute highlights of the upcoming games year 2022, at least if Guerilla Games manages to go one better than its great predecessor.
In addition to Aloy, the mechanical beings will again be the stars of the game. In a new trailer with gameplay scenes, Guerilla Games shows a little of what awaits you in the upcoming game. There are some old friends with whom we already made acquaintance in Horizon: Zero Dawn, such as the Watcher or the Snapmaw.
Of course, the developers have also come up with some new creatures, such as the fast Clawstrider or the mammoth-like Tremortusks. When creating the design, the designers let themselves be influenced by the new ecological zones and considered which peculiarities the creatures of certain areas might bring with them.
At least you can be sure that the catalog of around 25 creatures from the first game will be expanded significantly. That should make the fights interesting, especially since each creature has its own strengths and weaknesses, which Aloy is constantly facing new challenges and using her entire arsenal.
In a new one Dev-Blog the developers give insights into the design process and provide further details of what you can expect in the final game, which should appear on February 18th, if something does not come up again.
