Horizon: Forbidden West has benefited from a new patch in the past few days, and the fixes that come with it will please more than one player. These include changes to the Notebook, which can now be filled to 100%, and graphics improvements to reduce flicker and increase sharpness. We’ll let you discover the rest!

Horizon: Forbidden West patch 1.09 was recently released and it brings with it some notable fixes. This update fixed many issues related to side quests including major collision issues where allies, enemies, and even Aloy could get stuck behind props or in areas normally out of range. You no longer get stuck in terrain after loading a save in Rebel Camp Primeforge. and Aloy no longer get stuck on animations related to the contract for recovering peers and keys.

Completionists will be happy to know that a bug that was preventing 100% completion of the gradebook has finally been fixed! In addition, the waiting time during the loading screens has been significantly reduced and many crashes have been fixed. Last but not least, this patch brings significant improvements in terms of graphics, especially when it comes to flicker and sharpness. known problems

We are currently investigating several issues reported by the community. Please note that these issues are not resolved in this patch, but please know that our teams are aware of and investigating them.

  • The team continues to make adjustments to game content to reduce visual flicker.
  • During the side quest “The Red Plague” Atekka does not use the Ballista.
  • The “Upgrade each bag type” trophy does not unlock for some players after upgrading each bag type – please note that this trophy requires you to have the food bag, which is collected from a chief after buying food.
  • Some Flame Stones and Metal Flower icons will remain after finding/using them.

  • Fixed an issue with The Dying Lands main quest where machines would get stuck behind an energy shield.
  • Fixed an issue with The Fractured Sky main quest where the player could get stuck in an invisible collision.
  • Fixed an issue with The Fractured Sky main quest where Dekka was standing behind the throne and could not be contacted.

side missions

  • Fixed an issue with the Second Verse side quest where Zo wasn’t in Melope after completing all the main quests.
  • Fixed an issue with the Sunken Hope side quest where the player could remove bricks on the wrong side, causing progress to stop.
  • Fixed an issue with The Flood side quest where Aloy could get stuck in the ground underwater after destroying the Gemflame.
  • Fixed an issue with the side quest “The Tide” where Scuttlers could get stuck in a wall outside of Aloy’s range.
  • Fixed an issue with the Thirst for the Hunt side quest where the quest would not update after killing the Stormmaw.
  • Fixed an issue with the Noble Ambitions side quest where Morlund could get stuck in a rock and Aloy had to face the Petrel alone while he cheered for her from a safe location.
  • Fixed an issue with the side quest “In the Mist” where the tombstone could not be found on junk piles.
  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to interact with Kotallo when switching between the What Got Lost side quest and the First Flight personal service.
  • Fixed an issue with the Delivery personal service where Littay would get stuck under the terrain.
  • Fixed an issue with the A Shining Example personal service where the player could block progress by destroying Metal Flower Vines before the Destroy Metal Flower Vines objective appeared.
  • Fixed an issue with the Personal Service “Data of the Sons of Prometheus” where enemies would have taken the notion of “ghost” to the next level and would not be visible after death.

  • Fixed an issue in Primeforge Rebel Camp where reloading a specific save would cause the player to reappear under terrain.
  • Fixed an issue in the Colleague and Wrench Salvage Contract that resulted in the player getting stuck during the Examine Disc Launcher animation.
  • Fixed an issue with Dry Throat Relic Ruins where the cart could get stuck behind debris.
  • Fixed an issue with The Long Shore relic ruins where a towable crate could get stuck in water.
  • Fixed an issue where black boxes could not be picked up.
  • Fixed an issue where black boxes could not be handed over to Untalla.

  • Fixed issues with remapping certain buttons.
