is having a Horizon MMO Working with NCSoft if the new report is accurate.
According to Korean financial news outlet MTN, Sony has partnered with Guild Wars developers and publishers to develop the game.
The reported MMO news comes from sources familiar with the matter from Sony and NCSoft, and while development has not yet begun, NCSoft currently has a job listing for a game called “Project H” (thanks GamesRadar).
NCSoft has been the publisher and co-developer of ArenaNet MMO Guild Wars since its 2002 acquisition of the studio formed by former Blizzard employees.
The game is currently considered a mobile MMO due to various job postings listed by Amsterdam-based developer Guerrilla Games. That’s because Guerrilla was looking for someone with MMORPG experience before Horizon’s Forbidden City came out last year.
A recent PlayStation job listing in Amsterdam mentioned the need for a senior producer to work on mobile games, while a senior product manager listed the same qualifications to be hired. A job listing for Korean translations has also been released.
Currently, the only Horzion game confirmed to be in development, Call of the Mountain, is a VR game in which you’ll take on the role of Shadow Carja Warrior Ryas.
