Behavior Interactive celebrated Dead by Daylight’s 8th anniversary with a series of exciting announcements. Highlight of the Jubiläumsstreams was an upcoming one Cross-over mit Dungeons & Dragonswhich will soon enrich the multiplayer horror with many elements from the pen & paper model.

The most exciting revelation was that of the new killer: Vecna, a well-known villain from the world of Dungeons & Dragons, will soon be hunting survivors in Dead by Daylight. Vecna ​​previously became known to a larger audience through the fourth season of Stranger Things.

Vecna ​​is voiced in the game by famous Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer (Critical Role) and brings with it some new game mechanics – he can do magic! Vecna ​​can fly, fire magical projectiles, palettes dropped by survivors with the spell Magic hand immediately set up again and reveal survivors.

Another highlight is the new one Supersize game mode, which launches this summer. This mode pits two killers against eight survivors on a larger map. The traditional perk system is replaced with a class system and captured survivors are hung in cages instead of hooks. The initial killer roster includes Trapper, Wraith, Hillbilly, Huntress and Nurse, with further details to be announced here in July.

Finally, Behavior also presented several new projects and updates in the stream:
