Update on September 2 at 2:20 p.m.: Apparently, the episode is no longer available on YouTube in Europey – the episode was still available for the first few hours, but it has now been removed in this country.
Original message: House of the Dragon got off to a phenomenal start: Loud Rotten Tomatoes fans and critics have been equally impressed so far, and on top of that HBO is breaking viewership records after viewers’ records.
In this country, however, we cannot watch House of the Dragon on HBO, but have to watch the series on the Sky streaming service. At least if we want to review the entire season. The first episode is now officially available on YouTube – and it’s completely free.

Believe it or not there is no real catch. The entire first episode – from the short intro to the end credits – is free and completely legal on Youtube. HBO Max has published the episode on the official channel and should give you a first taste of the series. However, you must sign up on YouTube to verify your age.
The result is there only in English if you have trouble with the language, you can still enjoy the series with YouTube subtitles.
