House of the Dragon: Legendary brother fight in the Game of Thrones sequel?

Memories of the mountain and the dog are awakened: “House of the Dragon” will probably contain an epic brotherhood, as Netzwelt reveals.

• A casting video has now created 2 more characters for “House of the Dragon” known.
• The brothers Erryk and Arryk Cargyll will cross blades in the GoT prequel.
• This is revealed by the acting brothers John and Michael Cooke.

In 2022 it will be on HBO the sequel to the epic fantasy series “Game of Thronesstart: In “House of the Dragon” it is about the “dance of the dragons” called civil war in the house of Targaryen (which is also the GoT main character Daenerys

came from).

“Doctor Who”-Star Matt Smith and a number of other cast members have also been certain for the “Game of Thrones” spin-off for some time. A casting video has now also revealed that the legendary brothers Erryk and Arryk Cargyll will appear in “House of the Dragon”.

The legendary brotherhood is coming

Erryk and Arryk are members of the King’s Guard in George RR Martin’s master books and belong to different factions in the “Dance of the Dragons”: Erryk adheres to Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy), while his brother claims the throne of Aegon II Targaryen (Matt Smith) supports. It is hard to imagine a better symbol of a civil war than the struggle of two real brothers.

The fact that the siblings will be in “House of the Dragon” was made public through a casting video shared by the acting brothers John and Michael Cooke. Although both the names of the characters and the project titles have been changed here, it is clear from the dialogue that it is about “House of the Dragon” and the aforementioned brothers from the George RR Martin-Lore.

Incidentally, it is rather doubtful whether John and Michael Cooke were ultimately able to get hold of the roles. Typically, actors do not post casting videos if they are successful.
